REFUND POLICY
This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Charles Collins Photography (known at CCP).
Charles Collins photography will not refund, nor accept the return of/refusal to pay charges for, any technically acceptable photograph supplied to the Client in any format.
Should digital files be lost, damaged or destroyed the photographer(s) liability shall be limited to a refund of fees paid, but shall not include a refund for any goods already supplied or capable of supply at a quality deemed acceptable by the photographer. No refund will be due for any digital files lost, damaged, or destroyed after 6 months from the date of the wedding or event.
For digital downloads there are no refunds available once they have been received. Should the downloading of images fail for whatever reason, Charles Collins Photography will allow additional downloads free of charge.
CCP operates a Goodwill policy. What does that mean? This means that CCP is happy to offer partial reimbursement on a client-by-client basis. CCP is not legally obliged to offer a refund for things like images lost due to technical failure or the quantity of photographs distributed to the client. A “goodwill” gesture is at the discretion of CCP. If a “gesture of goodwill” is given, no further refund will be given for any subsequent complaints that occur, and no further claim will be considered.
CCP takes diligent approach to image/data capture and subsequent storage. However, technical failures resulting in the loss of images can occur. The client must engage the services of CCP with the full understanding that whilst extremely unlikely, this is always a possibility. For more information on image capture, storage and processing, please visit the Redundancy page.
Any complaints should be raised as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of images from CCP.
CANCELATIONS
All cancelations must be submitted to Charles Collins Photography in writing. Cancelations after the grace period will forfeit the deposit – all other monies will be refunded (minus expenses for which receipts and invoices will be provided to the client).
In the event that the Client cancels the services of CCP, the deposit will be forfeited. CCP agrees to refund all additional paid money (less expenditures for which receipts will be provided), to the client.
